What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and deliver capital and maintenance projects across healthcare facilities.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, and project teams efficiently.
  • Ensure facilities meet legislative, health & safety, and sustainability requirements.
  • Support energy efficiency, risk management, and strategic estate planning.

You’ll Need:

  • Level 8 degree in Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field.
  • Membership or eligibility for Engineers Ireland, RIAI, or SCSI/RICS.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in project management or building services.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Irish construction, health & safety, and procurement legislation.
  • Ability to travel between sites as needed.

Assistant / Senior Project Manager – Public Sector Estates

Location: Dublin South West (additional opportunities across Ireland)

We are currently seeking Senior Assistant Technical Officers / Project Managers to join a leading public sector client’s Estates Division. These roles offer the opportunity to deliver high-impact capital and maintenance projects across healthcare facilities, supporting the planning, design, and management of major and minor works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver capital and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare project briefs, budgets, and procurement plans in compliance with EU and national legislation.
  • Supervise contractors, staff, and multi-disciplinary teams on assigned projects.
  • Ensure compliance of healthcare facilities with Irish legislation and HIQA standards.
  • Contribute to sustainability, energy efficiency, and risk management initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 8 degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Eligible for professional membership or already a member of Engineers Ireland, RIAI, or SCSI/RICS.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in project management, building services, or construction within the Irish context.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Irish building regulations, procurement, and health & safety legislation.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and manage projects effectively with minimum supervision.
  • Access to appropriate transport for travel between sites.
  • Full Authorisation to work in Ireland with no restrictions and no sponsorship requirements

Benefits:

  • Starting salary at 1st point of scale with annual increments. (€60,000 - €70,000) Mileage / expenses paid in addition
