Overview:

The role of the quality QC analyst is to to ensure the accurate and timely analysis and disposition of raw materials and manufactured products in accordance with PepsiCo standards and procedures. The QC analyst is a key role within the Pepsico operations team and should have the following qualities:

  • Good organizational, planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent documentation management skills.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, able to deal with uncertainty and complexity.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to influence vertically & horizontally.
  • Good people skills – works well in a team environment.
  • Good analytical skills: ability to analyse technical data and translate information to solving problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all production, delivery, and issue samples in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely and effective issue resolution and communication.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
  • Maintain all relevant records and samples in an organised system for quick and effective access to information with a particular focus on traceability.
  • Adhere to safe lab practices and GLP.
  • Responsible for the testing and release of raw materials, semi-finished and finished concentrate materials
  • Flexible regarding priority changes.
  • Support the quality analyst with troubleshooting issues.
  • A requirement of this role is that all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.

Qualifications:

Essential criteria
  • Qualification in engineering or any science stream (desired - materials, packaging, chemistry, or food discipline).
  • Knowledge and technical understanding of quality and food safety would be ideal.
  • Capable of planning, executing, and delivering projects within specified time frames.
  • Fluent PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Additional Desired qualifications and/or experience
  • Analytical testing experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to positively influence others and lead teams.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated.
  • An understanding of SAP and LIMS would be desirable

Overview (Secondary Language):

This is a temporary basis opportunity for up to 12 months.

For the purposes of external advertising we have called this role QC analyst. However please note that the internal job title the successful candidate will be Onsite FS & Qlty Ops Sr Coord.
