This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join the dedicated Care Team at CUMAS New Ross . The successful candidate will assist in the provision of person-centred care, promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual, physical, or sensory disabilities in all aspects of daily living .

Main Duties & Responsibilities
⦁ Establish and maintain a positive rapport with service users, encouraging participation in planned activities.
⦁ Support individuals to engage in activities within the service and in the wider community, such as visits to the library, cafés, cinema, and outdoor walks.
⦁ Work collaboratively with team members to plan, prepare, and deliver group projects and programmes.
⦁ Provide flexible and creative support to meet emerging needs within the service.
⦁ Drive service vehicles to facilitate service user outings (full valid driving licence required).
⦁ Assist and provide support with personal care tasks in a professional and respectful manner.
⦁ Liaise professionally with families, parents, social workers, and other relevant stakeholders.
⦁ Maintain dignity, courtesy, and respect in all interactions with clients and their families.

⦁ Adhere to all Health & Safety and Public Health guidelines.
