What you will do:
As AI Product Manager you will support product development across a stack of iCIMS solutions.
You will join a team of other product managers supporting AI and AI/ML engineering teams within iCIMS AI. You will work in close collaboration with the Product Leads, taking ownership of specific roadmap and their delivery to the market.
You will have the opportunity to shape AI-driven talent acquisition solutions and work closely with some of the most passionate and experienced software engineers and data scientists in HR tech.
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of the product management team, you will support the AI product roadmap and the Senior Product/Portfolio Leads and help bring to market innovative AI features within the iCIMS product portfolio
- Own and maintain the product backlog for assigned AI features, writing clear, well-scoped user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready tickets that enable development teams to deliver with confidence
- Drive selected items on the AI product development through the complete product lifecycle — from requirements gathering and story refinement, through development, QA, and feature enhancements, in close partnership with engineering, data science, and other product teams;
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for your scrum team(s), participating in sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, retrospectives, reviews) and removing blockers to keep delivery on track
- Ensure clear, timely communication of requirements, dependencies, and risks to AI, data science and development teams, as well as the broader business
- Collaborate with Senior PMs and business leaders to identify and shape valuable roadmap items, building toward owning roadmap contributions independently over time
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback, usage metrics, and competitive signals to inform feature prioritization and backlog decisions with guidance from Senior PMs
- Support customer-facing activities including product demos and user research sessions, building toward independently leading these engagements as you develop your skills
- Encourage a thriving working environment where knowledge sharing, curiosity, and mentorship are valued, and be open to receiving mentorship yourself as you develop your product craft
Qualifications:
- - 2+ years of product management experience in a Product Manager or Product Owner role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably in a tech start-up or a SaaS enterprise
- Experience in an agile start-up or enterprise software development environment and/or product management
- You must be ruthless at prioritizing workload with a strong focus on helping the team be efficient, satisfied with their work, and making a positive impact on the wider organization
- Comfort with ambiguity; demonstrated track record of independently developing creative solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
- Experience with JIRA and product management tools like Aha! & Confluence
