Store Manager (Retail & Operations)

We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead a busy retail site, delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving operational excellence and commercial performance.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store. You’ll lead from the front—ensuring high standards across customer service, team performance, compliance, and sales.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to deliver excellent customer service
- Drive sales performance and consistently achieve targets
- Ensure the store is presented to the highest standards at all times
- Manage stock control, ordering, and merchandising in line with business needs
- Oversee daily operations including cash handling, reporting, and compliance
- Ensure full adherence to health & safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Monitor performance metrics (including P&L) and take action to improve profitability
- Maintain strong communication with senior management and contribute to business improvements
- Proven experience in a retail or convenience store management role
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Commercial mindset with a focus on sales and cost control
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
