Assistant Warehouse Manager - Food Manufacturing

A leading food company is seeking a hands-on Assistant Warehouse Manager to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves supervising a small team, managing stock control, and maintaining the highest standards in a busy food production and cold storage environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all warehouse functions
• Lead and motivate a small team of operatives, ensuring targets are met
• Manage order fulfilment, dispatch accuracy, and stock rotation
• Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
• Drive process improvements and ensure smooth daily operations
• Work on the floor, leading by example in a fast-paced setting

What You’ll Need:

• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing
• Proven team leadership and people management skills
• Strong background in cold storage operations
• Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail

Shift & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday, rotating with Tuesday to Saturday weekly
• Salary includes Saturdays and bank holidays
