Management Accountant

Our client, a long-established and highly respected name in the automotive industry, is seeking a Qualified Management Accountant to join their dynamic team at their Limerick office. With over 75 years of industry presence and a portfolio of leading automotive brands, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for the group.
• Manage a portfolio of clients with timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Handle tax compliance including VAT, corporation tax, and income tax returns.
• Assist with management accounts, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Review and mentor team members work.
• Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain detailed budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure budget adherence and variance analysis.
• Conduct rolling forecasts and scenario planning.
• Liaise with directors, departments, and stakeholders on financial matters.
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software.
• Solid understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
• Practical experience in tax return preparation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
