Tool Hire Manager New

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Tool Hire Manager to lead and grow our tool hire business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer service, and operations, with experience in the tool hire or construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the tool hire business, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and grow the customer base.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Oversee stock management, including procurement, maintenance, and availability of tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profit margins, and take necessary actions to achieve targets.
- Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring excellent service and problem resolution.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a management role within the tool hire, construction, or related industry.
- Strong sales and business development skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
- Good understanding of tool and equipment hire, including stock control and maintenance.
- Commercially aware with the ability to drive revenue and profitability.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the industry.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
- IT literate, with experience using hire management systems (desirable).
