Bookkeeper / Office Manager

We are currently hiring for an experience Bookkeeper/Office Manager for our client based in Drogheda, Co. Louth! Our client, based in the construction & property development industry are expanding their team and are seeking a proactive & career driven Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

Processing of VAT returns and ensuring compliance to filing deadlines

Prepare month end reporting and year end files

Manage subcontractor payments

Record all financial transactions

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash

Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a professional and efficient working environment.

Support project managers and site teams with administrative documentation

Assist with onboarding of new employees and subcontractors, including issuing contracts, collecting documentation, and setting up payroll details.

Maintain employee records, training matrices, absence logs, and holiday schedules.

Key Requirements

Experience working within the construction industry is essential

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.
