Maintenance Technician
Cork
A Maintenance Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our Co Cork based electronics manufacturing client. Permanent role within a modern high volume / highly automated manufacturing facility – 3 x 12 hrs ( 36 hr week) rotating shift position.
ROLE:
- Responsibility for overall maintenance of equipment.
- Preventative maintenance and monitoring of machines.
- Maximisation of machine up time and utilization
- To become familiar with all aspects of new equipment / technology including production processes.
- To carry out changeover of machines in line with production schedules and new product builds.
- Review machines / area on an ongoing basis with a view to possible improvements.
- Responsibility for environmental issues within your area and ensure you are working towards Company environmental targets.
- Responsibility of your own Health & Safety and that of others that you may be in contact with.
- Cert/Diploma in Engineering (Minimum NFQ Level 6) in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronics or similar
- Prior experience of equipment maintenance & fault finding within a manufacturing operation preferably electronics
- Experience in high volume automation & plc systems
