Business Analyst – Financial Services

Role Purpose
LFPLF Limited t/a Your Finance requires a Business Analyst to join the team in Co. Kildare. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in analysing business needs, defining requirements, and supporting the design and delivery of solutions that enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and client outcomes within the financial services sector.The salary ranges from €36,000 to €40,000 based on a standard 35-hour week.
Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with stakeholders across business units to elicit, document, and prioritise business requirements.
Analyse current-state processes and systems; identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for IT and third-party vendors.
Help define scope definition, planning, and execution of change initiatives.
Collaborate with compliance consultant to ensure regulatory adherence (e.g., MiFID II, PRIIPs, PSD2).
Prepare business case documentation, cost-benefit analyses, and support decision-making.
Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder communications.

Ability to translate complex financial, regulatory, and technical concepts into clear, actionable requirements.
Strong organisational and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated capability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of financial products, operations, or regulatory frameworks.
Business Analysis certifications (e.g., IIBA CBAP, BCS, or similar) desirable but not necessary.
Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Office Suite).- Sector:
