Mason Technology is a wholly owned Irish company established in 1780, the principal activities are the distribution and supply of analytical, laboratory and weighing instruments and offers a comprehensive after sales service.

Mason Technology is recruiting an Accountant Technician to join the Finance Team.

To support the finance team with day to day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

• Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers and journals
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly and year end accounts preparation
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax compliance
• Maintain accurate filing and financial documentation
• Support audits by providing relevant information
• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Accounting Technician qualification (or working towards it)
• Strong credit control skills
• Good aptitude for figures
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Fluent/highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Strong reconciliation skills
• An ability to take ownership of issues and recommend improvements.
