PE Global Recruitment are currently partnered with a leading international Construction company to recruit a Project Manager to join the team in Dublin. This is a full time. permanent role working within their Data Centre team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale construction projects from planning through handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Oversee daily field activities, ensuring clear communication, issue tracking, and resolution of progress, quality, and safety concerns.
  • Support project handover by ensuring documentation is complete and client expectations are met.
  • Coordinate snagging activities with clients, consultants, and contractors, including scheduling and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues with the team.
  • Implement and monitor project procedures, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Lead key meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Review variations and delays, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data centre and retrofit projects across the Dublin region, managing a regional team.
  • Align cross-functional teams around clear roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop project strategies aligned with quality, cost, timeline, and safety objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and best practices while driving high-quality standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and delivery.
  • Proactively manage risks and maintain contingency plans.
  • Provide regular updates and risk assessments to senior leadership.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and supply chain engagement to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Track project expenditures, driving value engineering and cost savings.
  • Promote innovation in construction methods and technologies to boost efficiency and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with schedulers and controls teams to manage schedules, scope, and budget changes effectively.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have grown your experience over 5 years in construction project management, with a strong focus on data centre projects
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or a professional qualification in a Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex construction projects and strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure and systems.
  • Have a strong understanding of budget management, cost control, risk and schedule management
  • Are enthusiastic about being part of a regional team, and able to flex your hours to engage across regions and time zones
  • Have excellent IT skills with a strong focus on data processing, management and analytics
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
  • Possess excellent planning, organisation and people management skills
