Data and Systems Analyst

A well-established financial services organisation with a long-standing presence in the Irish market is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This role is a great opportunity for a motivated junior analyst to gain broad exposure to systems, reporting, and process improvement within a highly collaborative teamenvironment.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and resolve system issues that affect user experience, outputs, and data quality
- Liaise with third-party service providers to manage technical resolutions
- Support configuration and analysis of internal and external reporting
- Perform quality checks and validation on data and reports
- Contribute to system enhancement projects and ongoing business development
- Suggest and implement process improvements
- Provide support across IT functions, including help desk duties
- Assist in transforming system data into actionable business insights
- Degree in Information Technology, Systems Analysis, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Understanding of SQL and ability to query large datasets
- Experience with data summarisation and reporting
- Familiarity with technical systems and troubleshooting
- Financial services experience is a plus
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Effective communicator with a team-first mindset
