Dublin - Health & Safety Advisor

We now have an opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor, with 3 to 5 years experience, ideally from working in a heavy industrial equipment, manufacturing or similar industry.
The role is based onsite in Dublin.- - Assit with routine safety inspections of maintenance of equipment, machinery, and work areas to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance
- Support incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- Assist in developing and updating safety policies and procedures including safe systems of work
- Support walk downs, RAMS, scope reviews, risk assessments, formlating method statements etc
- Participate in risk assessments for tasks involving equipment, confined spaces, and hazardous substances
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to maintenance teams and contractors
- Monitor contractor safety compliance during maintenance and installation activities
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities
- Support statutory testing and equipment certification processes
- Promote a positive safety culture through engagement and behavioral safety initiatives
- Stay current with safety regulations and communicate updates to relevant teams
- Additional Health & Safety duties as required
- - Relevant degree and certifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on Health & Safety site experience in heavy industrial equipment, manufacturing safety support role, or other similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools
