FRS Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Irish main contractor delivering high-profile projects across Dublin.
The successful candidate will initially be involved in a significant upcoming residential development, with the potential for student accommodation and mixed-use projects thereafter. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final handover, working closely with senior management, commercial teams, consultants, and site personnel.Typical project values are in the region of €20 million, with programmes generally spanning 2–3 years, offering strong continuity and long-term involvement from commencement through to completion.
This role will suit an experienced Project Manager with a strong main contractor background and proven experience managing projects through all stages of construction, including groundworks, structures, envelope, fit-out, commissioning, and handover.
Responsibilities- Lead the successful delivery of projects from commencement to completion.
- Manage programme, budget, quality, safety, and project performance.
- Coordinate design development and resolve technical project challenges.
- Work closely with commercial teams to achieve project objectives.
- Manage subcontractors, site management teams, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Chair project meetings and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years' experience in a Project Management role with a main contractor.
- Proven record delivering residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong experience managing projects through civils, structural, and fit-out phases.
- Excellent commercial awareness and programme management capability.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project elements within a busy environment.
- Irish/UK experience highly advantageous.
- €85,000 - €100,000 depending on experience.
