The Apprentice Engineer position offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Install/Service Engineers, allowing you to acquire valuable skills in installing and maintaining access control systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and more.

We are seeking ambitious, motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and growing.Through the Solas Apprenticeship Program, you'll receive comprehensive support while gaining hands-on experience at our client sites across Ireland and the EU.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting Installation Engineers with installation, programming and commissioning security systems on client sites.
- Assist Service Engineers in carrying out fault finding and rectification on access control systems, CCTV, and intruder alarms etc.
- Working alongside Service Engineers to carry out planned preventative maintenance on access control systems, CCTV and intruder alarms etc.
- Ability to travel across Europe to ensure completion of client projects.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Capable of following instructions
- Highly motivated to learn and develop new skills
- Must obtain a Learner's permit within your first year, with the goal of achieving a full driver’s license within two years of joining our team.
