Role - Software Developer

Location – Remote anywhere from Republic of Ireland

Contract type - Permanent Fulltime

Work model – Remote

Working hours - 8:30 AM -5:30 PM Monday to Thursday and 8:30 AM - 3:15 PM Friday

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Development of Cloud-based web applications
  • Work within a project team to deliver projects to specification
  • Development using C#, .NET Core, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Design & develop code to meet QA specifications & requirements
Required
  • Primary degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 2-4 years’ experience as a Software Engineer
  • Web application development using ASP.NET and C#
  • Familiarity with MVC .NET and associated technologies
  • Knowledge of developing RESTful web services
  • SQL Server Database programming experience
  • Good OO design skills
Desirable
  • Experience of using JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery
  • Familiarity with Agile methods
  • Familiarity with Design Patterns
  • Experience of automated unit and acceptance testing
  • Experience of developing and consuming Web Services
  • Experience of Azure cloud platform
  • Experience of DevOps processes and tools
