Job Description:

Flexsource are currently recruiting for an exciting new role with our client, a global leader in Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution, based in Donabate, Co. Dublin.

Our client is seeking a Driver Helper to join their Delivery depot. This is a full-time position starting immediately and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting drivers with deliveries, including safe loading and unloading of vehicles
• Supporting navigation and route planning during deliveries
• Liaising with customers in a polite, professional, and friendly manner
• Reporting problems and recording delivery logs accurately
• Supporting warehouse operations as required
• Working effectively as part of a team and also on own initiative
• Carrying out ad hoc duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in distribution, warehousing, or transport is an advantage
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential
• Flexibility to work early starts (when required on delivery routes)
• Manual handling certification is an advantage (training can be provided)

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday
• Standard warehouse shifts: 07:00 – 15:00
• Early starts (between 03:00 – 06:00) required when supporting delivery routes

Pay & Benefits:

• €14.70 per hour
• Overtime available at €22.05 (time and a half)
• Premium rate of €17.64 (20%)
• Plus €0.50 meal allowance when out on the truck
