Maintenance Technician
Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Fitter to provide mechanical and basic electrical support across all site operations.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum uptime of process equipment through a mix of preventative and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities;- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and breakdown support to minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, gearbox and drive replacements, and general fabrication.
- Support project work, including installations, commissioning, upgrades, and shutdown activities.
- Maintain accurate records within the maintenance system, applying TPM techniques and corrective action reporting.
Qualificiations:
- Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter with proven mechanical and basic electrical skills.
- Strong troubleshooting ability with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearbox/drive servicing, and mechanical fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
