Tax Analyst

We are seeking a motivated Tax Analyst to join our clients Tax Information Reporting team. This is a trainee/newly qualified-level professional role, ideal for someone with a strong foundation in tax operations and a keen interest in regulatory compliance and financial services.

As a Tax Analyst, you will support the delivery of tax information reporting processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. and international tax regulations such as FATCA and CRS. You will play a key role in operational execution, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement, while developing expertise in tax reporting and regulatory requirements.

With offices in the heart of Dublin City Centre, they are operating with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

• Execute tax reporting functions including tax form validation, withholding, information reporting, legal entity maintenance, and governance.
• Act as a tax reporting specialist for both operational and project initiatives.
• Assist with audits by tax authorities and Internal Audit.
• Support technology projects from a tax technical perspective.
• Ensure compliance with Information Reporting, FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to process re-engineering and the development of best practices.
• Serve as the first point of contact for tax-related queries, escalating when necessary.
• Assist with maintaining and updating operational procedures.

Minimum requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in an operations tax/asset servicing environment.
• Practical understanding of U.S. tax reporting rules for U.S. and non-U.S. persons.
• Knowledge of IRS Forms W-9, W-8, 1099, and 1042-S.
• Background understanding of CRS and FATCA requirements.
