Essential Requirements
A minimum 1 years’ experience and proven track record of working as a Catering Assistant

Experienced and trained on HACCP management systems.
Proven experience in the preparation and cooking of food
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, outgoing and dedicated to outstanding customer service
Ability to work on own initiative and supportively as a member of the team
A willingness to undertake further training and development as required
A respect and understanding of the community and youth sector

The Catering Assistant will work under the guidance of the Café Manager
Health & Safety /Hygiene

Maintain a clean and safe working environment sin line with legal requirements.

Service Delivery

Assist in the preparation, cook and serve food for the daily menu
Ensure adherence is being maintained in relation to the control of waste and recycling
Report any customer complaints or compliments to the Café Manager
Report any incidents or accident, fire, loss damage or other irregularities to the Café Manager
Attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary
