Warehouse and Transport Manager

Our client in Cork is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse and Transport Manager to drive operational excellence, develop high-performing teams, and make a real impact on the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong operational background who is eager to step into a leadership role, take ownership of warehouse and transport operations, and implement strategic improvements across the business.

What You’ll Do:

Operational Leadership:

Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, dispatch, and returns.
Manage the transport fleet, ensuring compliance, performance, and efficiency.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and drive continuous improvement to streamline operations.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain a safe, organised warehouse.

Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

People Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and develop your team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
Recruit, train, and manage staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.

Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing warehouse and transport operations.
Knowledge of fleet management, transport regulations, and operational compliance.
Strong IT skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is an advantage.

Full driver’s licence (C category desirable) and Health & Safety qualifications are a plus.
