Job Description

Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and training programmes.
Lead process optimisation projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainability goals
Develop and implement process control systems and monitoring protocols
Analyse production performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
Support compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Coordinate and deliver training in EHS, regulatory, and operational standards
Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits
Promote a culture of health, safety, and sustainability within the facility
Manage environmental and safety-related projects from initiation to completion

Report regularly on EHS and process performance metrics to senior management.

Skills & Competencies Required: Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and implement solutions.

Experience in process development, manufacturing, or continuous improvement.
Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels to drive compliance and improvement initiatives.

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with EHS management systems.

Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree (Level 8 NFQ or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant experience in EHS, manufacturing, or process development within food & beverages, biotech, medical devices, or related industries.
Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage.
