Duties and responsibilities: Bank and credit card reconciliation.
Record purchase invoices.Processing employee payroll weekly.
VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns.
Posting end of month journals.
Taking inbound calls.
QA/QC documentation – mostly excel based data entry work and some basic CAD work (will provide training for CAD)HR admin support, under MD guidance.
Other Duties
Working under the guidance of the Senior Team, other duties may include Health & Safety and welding certification management and monitoring.Management of ISO and EN1090 systems.
Tender preparation.
Experience and Qualifications required: Accounting technician qualification (Minimum Fetac Level 6)
Payroll qualification would be an advantage but not essential.Competent bookkeeping skills.
Excellent computer skills – will be using multiple platforms.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Very good communication skills.
Professional manner.
Person specification: Ability to work on own initiative following induction and training.
Excellent organisational skills.Engages proactively.
Excellent attention to detail is a must.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
