Their services include managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure support, helping clients strengthen their technology foundations and achieve their business goals.

Due to continued growth and increased investment in the public sector market, they are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to establish and lead a dedicated bid function.

The Role

The Bid Manager will take ownership of the full tender lifecycle, with a particular focus on Irish public sector opportunities. This includes identifying and qualifying opportunities, coordinating internal stakeholders, preparing high-quality submissions, and managing post-tender activities.

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to build scalable bid processes and play a central role in increasing public sector revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Irish and EU public procurement portals to identify relevant tender opportunities.
  • Lead the full bid process, including qualification, planning, content development, compliance checks, pricing coordination, and submission.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive bid content library, including case studies, policies, accreditations, and standard responses.
  • Manage applications for public sector frameworks and track upcoming renewal opportunities.
  • Coordinate contributions from technical, delivery, commercial, and finance teams.
  • Handle post-submission clarifications, presentations, and feedback reviews.
  • Report on bid pipeline, win rates, and overall bid performance.
  • Continuously improve bid processes and best practices.
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience in bid or proposal management.
  • Strong track record of preparing and winning Irish public sector tenders.
  • Practical experience with eTenders and public procurement frameworks.
  • Excellent written and editing skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of scoring methodologies.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Experience within IT services, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure.
  • APMP certification.
  • Exposure to UK&I public sector procurement.
  • Established network within public sector procurement.
