Temporary Chef – Childcare Facility

Location: Waterford

Hours: Mon–Fri 9am–3pm

Overview:

Childcare facility in Waterford seeks a part-time Chef to prepare healthy, child-friendly meals and maintain high food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare daily meals and snacks.
Follow HACCP and hygiene procedures.
Plan simple weekly menus.
Manage stock and keep the kitchen clean.

Work with staff to support dietary needs.

Requirements:

Previous cooking experience (childcare/healthcare an advantage).
Strong knowledge of food safety.
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.

Must pass Garda Vetting.
