Branch Manager - Electrical wholesale

Location - Dublin

Branch Manager in Electrical Wholesale Industry to oversee the daily operations of the branch including sales, warehousing, accounts and drives sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the teams in each department to achieve individual and team goals within the branch. Ability to Mentor younger staff.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers to ensure satisfaction, retention and growth.
• Operations Management: Oversee inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics, to ensure a high service level is maintained.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, relevant training and regulations.
• Reporting: Provide regular performance reports to senior management, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

Requirements:

• Education: A general business degree.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in electrical wholesale management or similar role. Proven track record of delivering year on year growth in a similar role.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical products and industry trends.
• Financial Acumen: Ability to manage financial budgets and goals.
