Group Financial Accountant
We are partnering with a leading global organisation to hire a Group Financial Accountant on a 15-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to gain exposure to a high-performing group finance function, working across SEC reporting, group consolidation, and global accounting processes.
Reporting to the AVP, Group Finance & Reporting, this role offers strong visibility across both finance and technology teams, with the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process improvements in a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the quarterly group close and consolidation process
- Assist with SEC reporting and group financial reporting requirements
- Prepare group financial statements and supporting analysis
- Reconcile group eliminations across multiple business units
- Liaise with external auditors during reporting cycles
- Support and maintain the general ledger (SUN), including code set-up and period management
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
- Assist with training and support across group finance processes
- Involvement in ad hoc projects as required
My client is seeking a newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with exposure to the insurance industry, either gained in-house or through working with insurance clients in practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in financial reporting, advanced Excel skills, and experience using accounting systems such as SUN and/or Workiva (highly desirable).
