Our client, a leading electronics company based in Cork, is seeking a Test Engineering Technician to join their growing team. This role offers strong long-term prospects in a structured, technical, and quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the design, build and maintenance of custom test solutions for production
- Respond to test downtime calls and implement corrective actions
- Improve test procedures, documentation and training
- Support new test equipment builds, parts ordering and commissioning
- Work with production teams, engineers, and external contractors to optimise test processes
- Experience in an electronics manufacturing or test environment
- Electronics or related engineering qualification
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits and systems
- Experience with LabVIEW is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload effectively
