Role Purpose
This is a developmental opportunity under the Community Employment (CE) scheme — no previous experience is required. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. The role involves working as part of a supportive team, contributing to a variety of areas, including projects, people support, kitchen, bakery, and administration.
Key Responsibilities- Project Support
- Assist in the delivery of center projects and activities.
- Help coordinate group activities and community programmes.
- Provide hands-on support to ensure smooth project operations.
- People Support
- Offer day-to-day assistance and encouragement to visitors.
- Support individuals in engaging with services and centre activities.
- Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.
- Kitchen Assistance
- Support staff with food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with stock rotation and storage of food supplies.
- Maintenance
- Carry out light maintenance and cleaning duties within the center.
- Ensure facilities are safe, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Report any repairs or issues to management.
- Bakery Support
- Assist with baking activities, preparation, and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in line with food hygiene standards.
- Support bakery staff in daily operations and production.
- Administration
- Provide basic admin support such as filing, photocopying, and record keeping.
- Help with managing participant information, attendance logs, and appointments.
- Use computers for simple document and email tasks (training provided).
- No prior experience required — training will be provided.
- Friendly, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in developing skills across kitchen, bakery, maintenance, projects, and administration.
