Design & Sales Manager

Our client is seeking a passionate Design and Sales Manager to lead the charge in enchanting crafting Christmas lighting and decoration concepts for shopping centres, businesses, and town management teams.

Salary €80,000 (dependent on experience)

What You'll Do:

As the Design and Sales Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to blend creativity with commerce. Your role will involve:

• Site Assessments: Conducting visits to various shopping centres, retail parks, and town centres to evaluate locations for festive installations.
• Creative Development: Designing tailored proposals that illuminate each space with holiday spirit while ensuring practicality and charm.
• Presentations: Preparing and showcasing captivating design concepts and visual proposals to clients that bring your ideas to life.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams to ensure your designs are feasible and align with installation capabilities.
• Client Relationships: Acting as the primary point of contact for existing clients, nurturing relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
• Opportunity Identification: Spotting opportunities to expand and enhance existing lighting and decoration programmes with current customers.
• Safety and Standards: Ensuring all proposed designs meet operational, aesthetic, and safety standards.
• Guidance: Providing expert advice to clients on layout, lighting effects, themes, and overall seasonal presentation.
• Installation Support: Assisting in the planning and coordination of installations when needed.
• Record Maintenance: Keeping accurate records of site assessments, proposals, and client communications.
• Ongoing Engagement: Conducting regular visits to client sites throughout the year to strengthen relationships and explore future opportunities.

What You Bring:

• A strong background in design and sales, with experience in creative proposal development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage clients.
• A proactive approach to relationship management and customer satisfaction.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning displays.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
• Proficiency in design or presentation tools (e.g., CAD, SketchUp, Adobe, or similar) is advantageous.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel for site visits.
