HVAC Maintenance Technician - Dublin
Role Overview- Mainteance technician role covering the Dublin area.
- Service, commission, and support humidity control and HVAC-related equipment
- Deliver high-quality technical service while exceeding customer expectations
- Act as a trusted technical expert and preferred service partner
- Perform accurate, timely servicing for contract maintenance customers in line with health & safety requirements
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on engineered capital equipment
- Replace and recommend critical spare parts to restore or improve equipment performance
- Conduct airflow measurements and unit performance assessments
- Carry out system upgrades and refurbishments on-site or in workshop facilities
- Commission and set up equipment to required performance standards
- Match servicing scope to project quotations and agreed timelines
- Produce clear, customer-friendly daily technical service reports
- Complete and submit all required health & safety documentation for site visits
- Identify additional servicing or upgrade opportunities with new and existing customers
- Maintain a professional image and strong customer relationships
- Support colleagues across regions when required
- Monitor and report competitive market activity
- Participate in training, mentoring, and certification renewal
- Support other engineering teams (e.g., project engineering, sales support, technical support) when required
- Minimum 3 years' field servicing experience with engineering capital equipment
- Strong HVAC industry knowledge
- F-Gas certified
- Experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical component faults
- Ability to assess equipment failures and quantify impact for remedial action
- Experience preparing clear and professional technical service reports
- Knowledge of airflow calculations and moisture content measurement
- Good understanding of air handling systems
- Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills
- HNC/HND or higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, and service/reporting software)
- Positive attitude
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Analytical problem-solving ability
