Medical Scientist Basic Grade or Senior - The Coombe Hospital, Dublin

CORU registered Medical Scientist Basic Grade or Senior required by Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with the HSE, for new opportunities at the National Cervical Screening Lab, based on the site of the Coombe Hospital, Dublin.

Hours: 35 hour week Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform to the highest professional standards as determined by the NCSL management team and participate in developing and implementing a service that supports the clinical needs of patients and is consistent with the mission, values of the hospital
• Observe the strictest confidence when dealing with all aspects of patient or hospital information

-Delegate as is consistent in providing a high-quality service

• Participate as required in the registration, custody and stock level of the
• Laboratory reagents and other materials held in the Directorate

• Perform all activities related to the receipt, analysis and reporting of laboratory specimens
• Ensure all equipment is operating correctly and all malfunctions are investigated, reported and repaired accordingly

-Co-operate fully with all infection control procedures
