IT Business Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct in-depth business process analysis to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys
• Create detailed functional specifications for IT solutions, including use cases, process flows, and data models
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support decision-making processes
• Develop and maintain project artifacts such as requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of business solutions
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Perform gap analysis between current and desired business processes
• Assist in the development and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of successful project deliveries
• Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques and methodologies (e.g., BABOK, Agile, Lean)
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Visio)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI)
• Familiarity with project management principles
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification is a plus
• Experience in the relevant industry sector is preferred
