Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join a high-performing finance operations team within a complex investment environment. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support the delivery of fund accounting operations across a broad portfolio of strategic investments and alternative assets.
This role offers strong exposure to investment operations, stakeholder management, investment accounting oversight, and finance transformation initiatives, making it an ideal opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to further develop their leadership and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, support and develop a team within the finance operations functionReview daily and monthly management reporting and investment accounting activities
Oversee investment settlements and reconciliations with global custodians
Support the oversight and performance monitoring of third-party custodians
Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, auditors and external advisors
Prepare and review market opening packs and withholding tax documentation
Assist with quarterly valuation reporting and year-end audit processes
Maintain and enhance finance procedures, controls and operational documentation
Work closely with Financial Reporting, investment teams and project stakeholders
Contribute to finance transformation and portfolio management system initiatives
Requirements
Third level qualification in Finance, Accounting or related disciplineQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) desirable but not essential
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Fund Accounting
Strong knowledge of Hedge Funds and Private Market products
Experience managing or mentoring finance professionals
Experience with investment products including equities, bonds, loans, funds and derivatives
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail with a proactive and adaptable approach
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
