Location: Dublin City Centre (just off St. Stephen's Green)

Working Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Flexi Time: Start between 7:30am and 9:00am

About the Role

A well‑established practice and accounting firm in Dublin City Centre is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join its busy payroll bureau team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a high‑volume, client‑focused environment and enjoys managing a diverse portfolio of payrolls across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles.

You'll be part of a supportive, professional team handling payrolls for a wide range of clients - including one of the firm's largest payrolls with 1,000+ employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for multiple clients across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
  • Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, statutory deductions, pensions, and benefits‑in‑kind
  • Process statutory payments including sickness, maternity, paternity, and adoption leave
  • Handle auto‑enrolment and pension administration
  • Import and validate large payroll data files
  • Maintain accurate payroll records for audit and compliance purposes
  • Respond to client queries and provide high‑quality payroll support
  • Ensure all payrolls are processed in line with legislation and deadlines
What You'll Bring
  • Strong end‑to‑end payroll experience
  • Experience managing multiple payrolls simultaneously
  • Experience between 2 - 6 years experience preference
  • Proficiency with Sage Payroll (highly desirable)
  • Comfortable working with large data imports and high‑volume payroll cycles
  • Ability to take ownership, work independently, and hit the ground running
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
