Our client, Stepping Stones Care Ltd is seeking a Healthcare Assistant that will provide care to residents with direction of the nursing team led by the Director of Nursing.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 1 year experience in a similar healthcare role and sufficient professional knowledge to carry out all the duties and responsibilities of the role, an understanding of theory and practice in the delivery of residential care services, and sufficient awareness of policy legislative and professional requirements to ensure an appropriate standard of service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage self in a busy healthcare environment and be flexible in the role.
Job Description: Tasks include but are not limited to, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing and the senior nursing care team, providing personal care to the residents including but not limited to bathing, preparing food, bedside care, clothing, wound dressing, and ensuring excellence of care.
The ideal candidate will have a background and experience in a similar role and environment and while desirable, you would preferably have a FETAC level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support and/or Diploma in Social Care under the National Framework of Qualifications.
The role is based in Solas, Springfield Tipperary Town. Salary is €30,420 annual, based on a 39hr week.
