Business Development Manager - Munster Region

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a market-leading provider of innovative off-grid infrastructure. My client is a pioneer in the site-solutions space, specialising in high-demand hardware including off-grid power towers, solar packs, timelapse cameras, and smart security gates.

They are looking for a hungry, technically-minded Business Development Manager to take full ownership of the Munster region. This is a /"hunter/" role designed for someone who thrives on opening new doors and introducing cutting-edge technology to the construction, infrastructure, and renewable sectors.

The Role & Responsibilities

This is a proactive, autonomous field sales position. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from the initial /"handshake/" to closing the deal.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities across Munster.
  • Follow-up on inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads to ensure high conversion rates.
  • Attend industry trade shows, regional business events, and site visits to build network.
  • Conduct site surveys and technical demonstrations to show clients exactly how off-grid solar and security tech will solve their site challenges.
  • Maintain an accurate CRM, providing weekly forecasts and reporting on territory growth.
  • Represent the company professionally, becoming the go-to expert for off-grid power and security in the south of Ireland.

What My Client Is Looking For:

  • You must have a technical background or a high level of aptitude. Whether it's electrical, mechanical, or construction-tech, you need to be comfortable explaining how off-grid systems integrate and perform.
  • Proven experience in New Business Development (B2B). You should be a /"self-starter/" who doesn't wait for leads to come to them.
  • We need someone who can work autonomously, manage their own pipeline, and find creative ways to reach decision-makers.
  • A genuine keenness to learn. The product suite is evolving quickly, and you'll need to stay ahead of the curve on solar and security innovations.
  • Full clean Irish driving licence
