United Caps Greystones Limited is currently looking for 5 Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and continuously improve automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, PLC-controlled systems, and injection moulding machinery to ensure maximum equipment reliability, efficiency, safety, and production uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on automation systems, robotics, injection moulding machines, and associated auxiliary equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, PLC, robotic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical faults in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Perform PLC fault finding and troubleshooting on automated production systems.
Support commissioning, setup, optimisation, and continuous improvement of automated equipment and processes.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, PLC logic, and machine documentation.
Troubleshoot sensors, drives, motors, relays, safety circuits, control panels, and automation components.
Work with robotic systems and automated handling equipment to maintain reliable machine performance.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities in line with maintenance schedules and site procedures.
Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and minimise production downtime through effective fault diagnosis and repair.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage within the Mainti4 maintenance system.
Support root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Assist in machinery upgrades, installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed in compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Support housekeeping, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives within the maintenance department.
Communicate effectively with production, process engineering, and management teams regarding machine status and technical issues.
Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Maintenance Manager when required.
Participate in shift handovers and provide clear technical updates on outstanding issues.
Exposure to automation equipment, robotic systems, and injection moulding machinery.
Development of practical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a Maintenance Technician role within a manufacturing or industrial environment essential.
Strong electrical and electronic fault-finding experience essential.
Proven experience with PLC fault finding and troubleshooting essential.
Previous experience working with robotics and automated manufacturing systems essential.
Experience working on injection moulding machinery highly desirable.
