I am currently recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer on behalf of a leading M&E engineering contractor to support the delivery of HV substation and grid connection projects across Dublin and Ireland.

The Role

This is a technically focused role working on High Voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure, supporting project teams from design through installation, testing, and commissioning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the delivery of HV substation and grid connection projects
• Coordinating HV electrical design, technical submittals, and procurement
• Ensuring all works are delivered in line with ESB Networks specifications and standards
• Supporting site teams during HV installation, testing, and commissioning
• Managing project documentation, quality, and handover requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience working on HV projects (substations / grid connections)
• Strong experience working to ESB Networks or Eirgrid specifications (essential or highly desirable)
• Experience within an M&E or electrical contractor environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
