Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Duties include caring for the elderly, driving/assisting with escorts to and from clients homes, carrying out activities such as bingo, exercise programmes, Imagination Gym/Music therapy etc. Assisting with preparing, temperature control checks and serving food and beverages and clear up, some cleaning and light maintenance of interior and exterior of day care centre.

Ensuring transport vehicles are clean and in good working order. Full training will be provided and career progression is supported and promoted

Driving licence (car) preferable but not mandatory. Good spoken knowledge of English is essential.
