Our client is an uplifting, inspirational and impactful Charitable organisation who provides support to young people all over Ireland, through workshops, mentorship and a variety of events. They are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and strategic Director of Education to lead the review, design, delivery, and growth of impactful education programmes that empower young people to thrive with confidence, courage, and compassion.If you are mission driven, with a growth mindset and are passionate about making an impact, then we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a master education plan that drives strategy and impact.
- Review, understand and update current educational programmes that meet the needs of today's young people.
- Ensure you are using an evidence based and creative approach and deliver a programme that actually works for young people.
- Oversee day-to-day programme delivery, budgets, and resources.
- Recruit, train, and support a talented team of facilitators and programme managers.
- Build strong connections with schools, policymakers, and community partners.
- Represent the organisation confidently at events and policy forums.
- Measure impact and use data and feedback to improve and grow programmes.
- Identify opportunities for funding, partnerships and expansion.
Requirements:
- Experience developing and managing education programmes in the Irish education system.
- Knowledge about educational policy and practice, with the ability to link education programmes with curriculum, learning outcomes, well-being frameworks.
- The proven ability to manage budgets and turn data into insight and action. Skilled at planning, evaluating, reporting.
- Strong leadership, organisational, coaching and people management skills.
- A strategic thinker with a growth and entrepreneurial mindset, someone who's self sufficient, driven, impactful and enthusiastic.
- Confidence in communicating with all walks of people.
- A collaborative, empathetic approach with a passion for creating inclusive spaces.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised and the ability to prioritise.
- A compassionate, genuine and authentic individual who cares deeply about the mission.
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in education, youth work, social impact, or related field.
