Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties will includeAssisting in the day to day running of our child care centre; Providing a stimulating and varied programme of activities ensuring the wellbeing of the child.
Ensure child safety at all times
Help maintain the learning environment daily
Training provided in childcare QQI level 5, placement available to a maximum of three years to allow you to gain child care practitioner qualification and to get the relevant work experience.CEC (Community Employment Childcare) programme is available to participants to include children up to 13 years of age.
A good standard of English is desirable.
