We now wish to recruit an Senior Project Engineer to coordinate, oversee and manage numerous projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering/Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.
  • - Support the management and execution of projects throughout project life cycle from initiation to closeout
  • Report to the Projects Programme Manager and responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of strategic projects with the capability to project manage small projects autonomously as the business requires
  • Project execution will focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence while complying with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codes
  • Manage cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and Processing projects, in a highly automated GMP Production environment
  • Manage the overall financial performance of engineering projects, including cash flow, life cycle costs, business opportunities and risks
  • Contractor/vendor management, project schedule management and schedule development
  • Risk management and action plans to mitigate risk
  • Strict adherence to safe working practices as set out in the safety statement and other company safety rules
  • Control and monitor the safe working practices of contractors while on site
  • Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety Requirements on a Pharmaceutical Plant
  • - A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Project Engineering / Management of large capital projects
  • An excellent record in Health & Safety
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or architecture discipline (Process, Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as Pharma, Medical Device, or Semi-Conductor
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a good understanding/experience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
