Engineering Technical Trainer

An Engineering Technical Trainer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Waterford based pharmaceutical client. This is a 24-month contract. If you have engineering technical training skills then this is the position for you !!!!
THE ROLE:
- Design and deliver engaging technical training programs for maintenance technicians.
- Develop competency frameworks and progression pathways aligned with site reliability goals.
- Mentor and coach technicians to build expertise in root cause analysis, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
- Lead reliability improvement initiatives using tools such as FMEA, RCA, and TPM.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions that enhance equipment uptime and performance.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and eliminate losses impacting OEE.
- Support the deployment of digital tools and analytics to monitor and improve equipment effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing downtime, increasing throughput, and improving quality.
- Introduce innovative training methods including simulations, e-learning, and hands-on workshops.
- Stay well informed of industry best practices and emerging technologies in reliability and maintenance.
- Foster strong, respectful relationships with the technician community to build trust and open communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.
