Finance Integration Accountant- Hybrid - Cork

As a Finance Integration Accountant, you'll play a key role in bringing newly acquired entities in line with existing financial processes, ensuring seamless integration, strong financial controls, and alignment with operational standards.

If you are a qualified accountant with minimum 3 years' experience managing financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal controls and technical accounting across multiple entities, have strong communication skills and enjoy stakeholder engagement, this opportunity could be exactly what you are looking for!

Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial onboarding of acquired stores, aligning them with our systems and compliance expectations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and three-year planning-including capital expenditure-for acquisition targets.
  • Oversee the financial /"hard close/" process, identify acquisition-related risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Manage compliance aspects, including audits, financial statements, and entity lifecycle support.
  • Assist with technical accounting during restructures, store closures, or sales.
  • Build internal relationships across finance and operations teams-occasional travel may be required.
  • Contribute to broader finance and control improvement projects as needed.
Ideal Candidate
  • A qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Experience managing financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and technical accounting across multiple entities.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organisational, project, and change management aptitude.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly committed to accuracy and process improvement.
