Maintenance Supervisor / Team Lead - Shift Role - Waterford - Pharma/MedTech

Are you an experienced maintenance professional with strong leadership skills and a background in high-volume manufacturing? Ready to take the lead on a brand-new manufacturing line in a state-of-the-art facility?

We're working with a global leader in the pharmaceutical/medical device sector, currently expanding operations at their Waterford site. This is a rare opportunity to step into a shift-based leadership role supporting the startup and day-to-day performance of a new, cutting-edge production area.

What's involved:

• Leading a team of maintenance technicians on shift
• Ensuring smooth operation and rapid response on a highly automated line
• Prioritising safety, quality, and uptime in a regulated environment (GMP)
• Acting as the key escalation point for troubleshooting and decision-making during shift
• Supporting continuous improvement, training, and team development

What you'll need:

• Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronic background (apprenticeship or degree)
• Strong hands-on experience in maintenance within manufacturing (pharma/med device/FMCG ideal)
• Previous leadership/supervisory experience (even informal team lead roles)
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skills
• Comfort working shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
