Part-Time Support Worker – Intellectual Disability Services

Contract: Part-Time, Agency Basis

FRS Recruitment is working alongside a leading Intellectual Disability service in Tipperary that requires ongoing agency Support Workers on a long-term basis.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience working with individuals with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and is passionate about providing high-quality support and care.

• Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily lives
• Assist with personal care where required
• Facilitate activities that promote independence and wellbeing
• Contribute to the smooth running of the service, including tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and general household duties
• Work collaboratively with the wider care team

• FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (all 8 modules completed – proof required)
• Full Irish driving licence
• Previous experience working in Intellectual Disability services is essential
• A proactive and hands-on approach to supporting service users

• Flexibility to choose your own shifts and working hours
• Paid in line with the latest HSE 2026 pay scales
