Salary: €36,605 per annum
Five Star Paws Ltd is recruiting a Kennel Assistant to support the daily care and welfare of dogs in our kennel facility in Cavan. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, animal care, and safety.Duties Include
Feeding, watering, and general care of dogs
Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and work areas
Exercising dogs and monitoring their health and behaviour
Assisting with grooming and basic animal care
Reporting health or behavioural concerns to management
Supporting the day-to-day running of the kennel
Requirements
Previous experience with animals is an advantage but not essential
Ability to perform physically demanding work
Applicants must have a good command of the English language.
Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts
